Chic and Cozy- Collaboration ABS by Allen Schwartz

Posted on: December 30, 2016

It’s officially winter in New York! Not much snow but blistery cold.  I had an amazing holiday with my sweet little boy and ex husband in Tennessee. We got a new puppy which I can’t wait to share more with you! Still deciding on the name but I know Levi will pick out something cute. Stay tuned…

Happy to partner up with ABS by Allen Schwartz to help me find the perfect coat to add to my wardrobe.Highlighted with bold streaks of contrast color, this shorter coat brings instant glam and practical warmth to any look featuring lusciously thick and shaggy faux fur. Since Winter hasn’t totally hit in NY, I’m able to pull off something a bit dressier for the day.  A perfect velvet dress from Reformation (I am crushing on velvet these day) and Stuart Weitzman boots dress this outfit up a bit. I paired with a Givenchy medium Antigona bag  from NET-A-PORTER. The thing I love about this jacket is you can wear black jeans and cute top for day, and pop on dress and tights to take you to the night!

How do you wear your favorite faux jacket? Share!

Tracie Martyn

Posted on: December 10, 2016

I entered in the world of Tracie Martyn from a grape vine of celebs and VS models that have sworn by this women’s hands to grace your face. I’m talking my weathered, tired, traveling, late night, wine drinking not-so- great diet kinda skin being transformed into bright beautiful skin!  A blustery cold winter coming in all the events and parties coming,  I knew I needed a quick pick me up. …. I found myself sitting in her in her  ethereal penthouse setting on 5th ave.

At first when entering the bright pearly white gates of heaven in the middle of manhattan. Interior Design by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz has helped to bring harmony to each of the treatment rooms. Beautiful flower arrangements, calming music and warm ginger tea combine to create a truly nurturing and transformative space. I was greeted ever so warmly, the ambiance was certainly calming and tranquil as I was like a kid in candy shop with all the product (that YES, actually work wonders!) Formulated by Marius Morariu, who also has his background with nutrition- makes them a power duo in transforming the health of your skin for the inside out.

I opted for the red carpet facial. I knew when I laid in her plush treatment bed from that second on- I was in sheer bliss. Her hands work magic as she was able to locate and problem areas I had. She began with she gently cleaned my face with her wonderful Amla Purifying Cleanser (a deep cleanser that brightens and tones the skin), and followed with her state-of-the-art Crystal Free Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion machine, which cleanses the pores like no other (a sensation of your face being vacuumed) and reduces the appearance of fine lines, especially around the eye and mouth areas. The beauty machine called the resculptor—an electric wand-like tool that emits mild electrical currents, lifting and firming the jawline and cheekbones, while also de-puffing the eyelids and undereye circles—was applied. I then received a collagen mask, which further tightened and plumped the skin. Finally, Tracie topped the process off with her highly demanded Firming Serum.

As I came out of blissful coma, whisked out the door for a cup of  herbal tea only to rub elbows Kate Winslet standing at the counter waiting for Tracie’s magic. I caught a glance of myself on the way out the door, my skin looked tighter, smoother and shockingly brighter! It lasted for days, I will continue the treatments and certainly coming back before big events. If you are in NYC , do your skin a favor and make a date with Tracie and her team . Her products are available online as well

The Tracie Martyn Skin Care Salon (1-866-TMARTYN) is located at 101 5th Avenue, on the 11th Floor.

I’ve had  a flux of events per usual and not really sure where I want to call my forever home haha so for now Levi and I are settled in New York.  We are really happy here, finding so much inspiration in the city. I am loving the hustle and bustle… also working a new job for ANINE BING! It’s all very exciting and cool to do something that I am enjoying. Thought for today- There is one thing certain in life and that is change. It comes like taxes, love, death, weather or getting older. You are your own Superhero, always have been, always will be up. I beg you not to be a side bob show in your own life. It’s up to you babe; make it great. My favorite thing about everything is that you have the power to change anything. Give yourself that real good self love.

Here is a November playlist to get you by;)

Fashion weeks are in fully coming to and end and whilst I had arrangements to go to Paris, I came down with illness and needed to take care of my body and mind. After New York fashion week I decided to come home to Tennesee for the last two weeks to be with my son and also spend time with family. It’s been very relaxing and rejuvenating to come home be surrounded by the people I love most.

Im now headed to LA to put tougher and amazing event which I am very excited about. Doing events is something i really love and have a passion for! I am also getting some new design projects starting up- I can’t wait to share. There are so many great things coming my way and I am very excited for the future!
I shot this Story this summer and have not got around to sharing it till now! This darling ZIMMERMANN dress is so lovely and cozy to wear. I also wear this with simple strappy sandals or Isabel Marant boots.  My friends and I went to one of my favorite coffee shops in LA Alfreds and the new tearoom across the way for a great Matcha-  grab a cappy and walk around. If you are in LA i recommend stopping by the one on Melrose, it is such a charming street and they have some many darling shops ie. VIOLET GREY and The Row, CHLOE, so many nice stores. Every Sunday they have the farmers market with the yummiest fresh produce and food trucks. Anyhow I am off to LA for a few days and look forward for a week in the sunshine.
